‘Changing Lives and Times: Relationships and Identities through the Life Course’ (known as ‘Timescapes’ for short) is the first major qualitative longitudinal study to be funded in the UK. This research involves a consortium of five universities from across the UK and is funded for five years from February 2007 by the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC).
