INTELLIGENT TRANSPORTATION SYSTEM
Objective
With the development of a smart city transmuting cities into digital communities, making life simpler for its people in every dimension, Intelligent Transport System becomes the essential part of all. Mobility is a major issue in any city; whether it is walking to class, university and office or to travel within the city for every other purpose residents use transport system. Using an Intelligent Transport System to benefit citizens can save their moment and allow the city even better. The Project aims to achieve traffic quality by reducing traffic problems.
As stated by Gaber et al. (2018), it enriches users with previous traffic information, local comfort real-time running information and other options such as seat availability, which decreases commuters' journey time as well as improves their security and comfort. As indicated by Brincat et al. (2019), the entire implementation of Intelligent Transport System is focused on the compilation, review and use of the results of data study in the traffic management processes, control and research principles where the position/location/GPS application plays a significant role.
