By comprehending the article regarding the people of Juchitan in Mexico, I can understand how they value rather celebrate homosexuality. As culture they give due respect to people who have converted their gender based on their associations like transgender individuals. I was curious to understand how this sensitive topic of homosexuality impacts other cultures especially Christianity. Hence, I read many articles, researched about the people and went through journals in order to deep dive into how homosexuality is considered in this culture. Well, from my research, it is evident that homosexuality is not accepted or acknowledged in many cultures especially Christianity. In fact, it is considered as a sinful action and highly disapproved by people (Bell, D. and Binnie, J., 2004).
Essentially many people within the Christian community have stereotyped homosexuality as crime against nature and disrespecting God's decision.
