Organisation structure has an important implication over the
formation of the organisational strategy and accomplishment of organisational goal (Mallen et al. 2016). Generally there are four types of organisational structures such as functional, divisional, matrix and flat structure. Based on the type and the work culture of the organisation the structure is adopted. Safrodin, Abdullah and Luddin (2018) have discussed that there are various factors that contributes to the success or failure of the organisation. The factors that contribute to the success of the organisation are performing the surveys of the customers from time to time. This will help the company in understanding the position of the organisation and the manner, in which they are rating.
There are many stakeholders of the organisation, which are both internal and external. The stakeholders are employees, managers, lenders, vendors, investors and the contractors. While asking and taking note of the perception of the stakeholders will help in analysing the factors that are working in favour of the organisation and the factors, which need to be improved.
There are many things, which need to be prioritised. Based on that, evaluation of the success and failure can be defined. Based on the prioritising and customising the work the organisational function will go on based on the desired objective and strategy.
In an organisation there is success and failure based on the situation. Andersen (2018) has discussed that the failure of the organisation often takes place because they are unaware of the fact that what they are doing and what their real strategy is. There are many occasion in the organisation where the importance or tremendous influence takes place regarding the organisational activities and structure. This can be a negative aspect because most of the time it does not align with the real purpose of the organisational function.
