Procedure for filling the judge and justice position at federal level starts with Nomination of Judges is done by the president; approval is by senate and finally appointment by the president as judge or justice position. As per constitution there are no constitutional qualifications to be a federal judge. Judges once selected serve for their life term until and unless they get retired or removed by the impeachment process.
