Today we are all connected via internet like never before. Internet not only keeps us connected, involved
and informed, but organizations increasingly depend on cyber space to drive business growth efficiency
and innovation. Nation’s infrastructure also relies heavily on internet. Computer-based control systems
run much of the nation’s physical infrastructure, including such telecommunications and power
distribution, oil and gas production. These systems are increasingly connected to the Internet and
therefore vulnerable to new and unforeseen types of cyber disruption. The technological advancement and
heavy dependency on internet in every field however comes with a price. As cyber attacks grow in
number and sophistication, private hackers and organized criminals, appear to be becoming involved, the
threat is increasingly perceived as a problem in both a national and an international security context.
I think attribution is the biggest challenge that the policy makers are facing. Professionalization of
attackers has made cyber security the key challenge of the 21century. The hardest problem in finding the
