Introduction
· Understood as unwanted or unwelcomed sexual behaviour done by a person towards his or her colleagues, boss, or any other personnel at the workplace.
· Make one feel offended, humiliated and intimidated as it is not
based upon consensual interaction, flirtation or friendship.
Sexual harassment at workplace is a global problem or issue in the contemporary business world. In general terms, it is unwanted or unwelcomed sexual behaviour making one feel offended, humiliated and intimidated. It is not necessary to be in physical terms, can take the form of verbal or written.
Sexual Harassment at workplace
· Sexual harassment can happen-at work, work-related events and between people sharing same workplace.
· Even a single incident is enough to constitute sexual harassment, no need of repeating it.
· Teasing and offended comments also come in the category of sexual harassment, along with grabbing, brushing, pinching, etc.
It categorises behaviour not mutually agreed and decided upon between parties, and, done in physical, written and verbal form. Sexual harassment at workplace can happen in three forms-at work, at work-related events, and, between people sharing same work place or setting. It is not necessary to repeat the event continuously, as single incident is enough to constitute sexual harassment (Gurchiek, 2018).
Statistics regarding sexual harassment
A study conducted by University of California showed that 81% of women and 43% of men around the world experience some form sexual harassment.
Another report collected by Stop Street Harassment showed:

· Victims face consequences in terms of anxiety, depression, social isolation, and forms of mental issues.
