This includes


    Understanding the theoretical underpinning of probabilistic and statistical methods;
    Critical appraisal and application of a range of probabilistic models;
    Understanding the methodology, suitability and limitations of a range of inferential statistical methods and forecasting techniques;
    Making sense of large-scale, real-world data sets and applying spread sheet software to conduct exploratory and inferential analysis of same;
    Creating and interpreting simple linear regression models;
    Interpreting and communicating the impact of statistical results in a managerial context.
