1) write a short essay using the “Five Paragraph Essay Model” (5 to 7 paragraphs), which presents your argument on whether you believe the media have a liberal bias.

2) In addition, as part of your initial posting write a three sentence statement that summarizes and supports your position on this issue(I believe there is). You should include at least TWO anecdotal examples that support your position. (Identify the news source for your anecdotal examples.)

In preparing for your short essay, read or watch several stories on President Obama and/or current events affecting our nation. The stories should come from one or more national media outlets, such as ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox News, CNN, MSNBC, Washington Post, New York Times, Los Angeles Times, and St. Louis Post.
