How the republican models, Models of Democracy contribute to our ideas about democracy.
Democracy is one of the powers which is given to the citizen of a country where they can choose a government of their own choice, by understanding all the participants and the candidates. With this power, they have an understanding of choosing the person by knowing him and properly analyzing and observing. The models of democracy have been divided into two parts which are known as participative where all the candidates and the people participate and the other one is known as direct democracy where decisions are made on public affairs. Basically, the topic of democracy has a vast history related to discussion and debates (Van Gunsteren, 2019).
The models of democracy have contributed a lot to the idea of democracy as it has classified and helped people understand the importance of democracy and how it is benefitting other people in the same. Generally, to implement any new strategy or planning, it is important to understand the response and the feedback of the end-users or people who are going to be the exact use of that strategy. This is why democracy has remained one of the most important topics for discussion and debates because it might happen that people use it wisely or some might use it for their benefit. Majority rule government is one of the forces which is given to the native of a nation where they can pick the legislature of their own decision, by seeing every one of the members and the applicants. With this power, they have a comprehension of picking the individual by knowing him and appropriately dissecting and watching (Beard, 2017).
As mentioned in chapter 2 of Dahl and Trend the models of majority rules system have been partitioned into two sections which are known as participative where every one of the competitors and all the individuals take part and the other one is known as immediate vote based system where choices are made on open issues.
