Endocrine, cardiovascular and respiratory systems are integrated together and coordinately
control the body fluid volume and blood pressure. This can be stated as follows:
During increase body fluid volume and increase blood pressure:
Intake of large amount of fluid including Na .Accumulation of fluid in the interstitial spaces
and in the blood increasing the extracellular fluid volume and also blood volume. As blood
volume increases circulatory filling pressure rises. Increased circulatory filling pressure
increase the pressure gradient for venous return. Increased venous return elevates cardiac
output. An elevated cardiac output raises arterial pressure. Increased arterial pressure and
blood and fluid volume signals the osmoreceptor of hypothalamus to inactivate the
paraventricular and supraoptic nuclei of hypothalamus to secrete the posterior pituitary
hormone ADH which absorb water from collecting duct....
