1. Observe children in a dramatic play center, then ask if you might join. Take a small role and, when appropriate, suggest a new direction for the plot. Observe what happens next, removing yourself when it seems right. Write down the experience for sharing with your class or with other teachers.
2. If you are teaching, make a list of activities you expect to do on your next day in the classroom. Plan as many ways as possible to include music and pretend play as a part of them. Carry through on as many of these as feasible. Write a journal entry when you are fi nished to share with others.
