1. Observe a group of children at play and note any formal or informal use of mathematics Skills
2. Choose any single Common Core State Standard in Math and devise a way to meet it through play. For very small children this might mean simply providing inspiring materials. For older children, creation of a game might be in order.
3. Try implementing any of the ideas suggested in this chapter. Then write about or discuss your successes and problems. Analyze why some things went better than others.
