1. If you are teaching reading, plan at least one movement activity for your next story. Children might dramatize the whole story. Or they could act out a new ending. Or you could ask them to demonstrate the feelings of individual characters at turns in the plot.
2. Observe children of different ages as they are involved in movement activities. What developmental differences do you see?
3. Choose a topic worthy of study that might evolve from movement activities. Write down possible ways that the subjects of art, math, reading, writing, social studies, and science might be integrated through the study of the topic.
