1. Have a panel discussion on the topic “Is it possible for counselors to remain neutral with respect to their clients’ values?” The panel can also discuss different ways in which counselors’ values may affect the counseling process.
2. Invite several practicing counselors to talk to your class about the role of values in counseling. Invite counselors who have different theoretical orientations. For example, you might ask a behavior therapist and a humanistic therapist to talk to your class at the same time, if it is feasible, on the role of values
