1. For the project you are working on, decide how your project team will be structured - functional, matrix or projectized. You may decide to set this up using any type of organizational structure you think is best. Create an organizational chart showing the major resources you plan to use on your project and where they fit in the organizational hierarchy, that is, in the parent organization. A good chart will show who reports to the project manager and to whom the project manager reports. (6points) 2. Label your chart to identify what type of organizational structure you have. In 1-2 paragraphs (you may use bullets if you prefer), describe the organizational culture of your organization - include information about at least 5 of the primary characteristics identified in G&L (p. 82). (4points) 4. What are the implications of this organizational culture for your project? Please support your answer with evidence. (4points) 5. How does organizational culture relate to organizational structure? Please support your argument with evidence. (4points) Submit your assignment in a Word document; you may use PowerPoint or any software program of your preference to create the organizational chart and then save it as an image file that you add to the Word document if you prefer.
