1) Final paper rough draft on Global Nutrition Topic This final paper should be an in-depth review and analysis of a global nutrition problem or issue of public health significance regarding maternal health or, and should focus on one country or region. Papers should be approximately 8 pages (12 point standard font, 1” margins, double-spaced). Papers should cover: a. A description of the health condition or problem b. The burden of disease (mortality and morbidity) in the selected region/country c. The most affected or vulnerable populations by subgroup (gender, age, economics etc.) d. An analysis of the determinants of health that underlie the problems e. Implications on the population beyond health f. Current initiatives/programs/available funding to address the issue g. Analysis and critique of the current strategies h. Recommendations for alternate or additional strategies (policy change, community intervention, etc.) Papers should include at least 5 citations from peer reviewed papers. Additional references should be from reputable sources (UNICEF, WHO, FAO etc.). All references should be consistently formatted using APA or other common referencing style.
