1. Explore primary grade science textbooks. Do the textbooks encourage much inquiry for children or are they more teacher driven? Would you want or need to make any alterations to learning activities? If you made alterations, what would they be?
2. If you have access to a science activity kit designed for a ready-to-use lesson, explore its contents. Is it more teacher driven or does it encourage student exploration and inquiry? Would this lesson have the potential to continue into an inquiry-based learning project? If so, describe what the project might look like and what subjects could be integrated in the process.
