1. Discuss the two webs in the activity sections. Is it clear as to why titles were placed where they were? Would you position them differently? Why?
2. Observe morning opening procedures in a classroom. What evidence of math skill incorporation do you see? If you are a classroom teacher, assess the use of mathematical skills in your own opening procedures.
3. In your own daily personal routines, keep a mental note of the multitude of ways math is infused in your life. Compare and discuss your observations with other adults.
