sixty countries. Starbucks uses three business strategies: joint ventures, licenses, and
company-owned operations. Starbucks international expansion strategy is very much
different from its domestic business strategy. Typically in the United States, Starbucks has
its own line of coffee-bar stores, without any franchise arrangements or partnerships.
