Assignment Details


Assessment 1 (Literature Review Part 1: Annotated Bibliography) is part of the process that leads to assessment 2 (Literature Review Part 2: Critical Literature Review) and involves:


1.    Coming up with an enquiry statement based on one of the enquiry topics available for your discipline/programme;
2.    Developing and employing appropriate search strategies to identify primary research literature relevant to your enquiry statement;
3.    Choosing three (3) primary research articles relevant to the enquiry statement, at least one of which must employ:
a.     A qualitative research methodology;
b.     A quantitative research design;
4.    Summarising those three (3) primary research articles using the appropriate* primary research summary templates below


*Appropriate means selecting the template that best fits each study, i.e. use the qualitative template for a qualitative study, the quantitative template for a quantitative study, and the mixed-methods template for studies using a mixed-method approach
