1. Bubbling carbon dioxide into water causes the pH of the water to go down (become more acidic) because of the formation of carbonic acid. Will the pH also drop when carbon dioxide is bubbled into a solution of 1 M hydrochloric acid, HCl?
2. Can an acidic solution be made less acidic by adding an acidic solution?
