Introduction
I. Deforestation consists of cutting trees that includes to lop, fell and to remove the forest litter, browse, gaze and to trample the seed
lings.
II. It is also referred to as losing tree cover; a land which is converted permanently to non-forest from forest likes human settlement, desert and agricultural pasture.
III. Deforestation is a major concern for the countries that are developing the tropics which causes damage to biodiversity and enhance the greenhouse effect.
IV. The common reason for deforestation is cutting trees for paper, lumber and fuel.

I. Attention
1. The growth in the rate of deforestation is 25% each year.
2. This is an alarming trend which is going on from the year 1960, and this is very harmful to the environment. It is happening in spite of the fact there are many policies as well as measures that are proposed by the government agencies who are responsible for protecting forests.
3. The main cause of the increasing rate of deforestation is the high demands of the products made of wood like furniture etc.
4. Another significant reason associated with the clearing of land of the forests for agriculture that includes converting into cropland as well as pastures.
