The person whom I going interview is a friend of my father, who is an expert in automobile industry. He is also having significant experience in electrical engineering along with mechanical engineering. The purpose of this interview is to understand the importance of electric cars and what is its future prospect in the automobile industry. The interview is conducted with his prior consent, and his identity is kept undisclosed as per his request.
Myself: Hello sir, hope you are doing good. I want to ask you regarding why it is important to adopt a new technology in the form of electric cars?
Expert: The fossil fuels are contributing to a large extent in pollution and that resulting into global warming. It is important to take initiatives to protect our environment, hence, in order to address this issue, a new technology is required for transportation and thus the invention of electric cars.
Myself: Do you think the world is ready to adopt this new technology?
Expert: The world is looking for new means of transportation system because of the limited source of fossil fuel left, which will end up in couple of years to come. It is targeted to meet the evolution in the transportation and mobility routine by the year 2035, when more technologically advanced electric vehicles will run on roads.
